Your First Session: Clear, Calm and Unhurried
"I can't pose", "I'm not photogenic", "it'll be awkward" - the most common words before a first shoot.
Fears I hear most often
"I can't pose"
Actually
You don't need to. We pick the poses in the moodboard beforehand, and during the shoot I prompt each one: where to look, where to put your hands, how to stand.
"I'm not photogenic"
Actually
Photogenic is about light and angle, not a personality trait. That's my job, not yours. I don't change how you look - I show you as you are, in the best light.
"It'll be awkward in front of the camera"
Actually
The first 15 minutes are just conversation and warm-up, no "perfect" shots. The stiffness passes on its own, and the best photos usually come from the second half.
How a first session goes
You're never left alone with the camera: at every step it's clear what's happening and what to do.
Getting acquainted and the moodboard - before the shoot
We discuss the idea and I build a moodboard with poses, mood and light. You arrive already knowing how everything will look.
Warm-up without pressure
We start with simple frames and conversation. You can laugh, move, "not know how" - it's part of the process.
I guide you in the frame
I prompt and demonstrate every pose myself. Now and then we look at the shots together on the camera - you see it's working.
Natural editing
After the shoot - delicate retouching: light, color, preserved skin texture. No reshaping, no changed features.
