I photograph families with children, mothers with daughters, siblings, and several generations at once – grandparents included. You're welcome to bring your dog: pets are part of the family and often give the funniest shots.

Children don't have to behave or pose. I run the session at their pace, with breaks to play, because the best photos happen when everyone feels at ease.

For family sessions I recommend the studio: the light and backdrop there are always right, whatever the weather.

We can also shoot at home: with little ones it's easier, because the child is somewhere familiar with favourite toys at hand. Around the holidays we do sessions by the Christmas tree, with presents and the warm glow of fairy lights.

Before the session I help you choose the location and coordinate outfits for the whole family so the colours work together. I also prepare a moodboard – a collage with examples of mood, shots and outfits, so you know what the photos will look like before the session. The session lasts from 2 hours – enough time for the children to get used to me and the camera.

During the shoot I tell you how to position yourselves, but most shots are natural moments: hugs, tossing the little one up, laughing together.
